IBEX Properties SA advises on, brokers and manages real estate in Switzerland. For property abroad, we advise our clients and work with agents licensed where the property is. It is a Swiss corporation registered in the Canton of Ticino, with its office in Chiasso.

Chiasso, at the southern edge of Switzerland.
Chiasso lies at the southern tip of Ticino, on the border with Italy. It is where the company is registered and where we meet clients. Our mandates are not limited to the region: they follow the property, in Switzerland or abroad.

Supervision and insurance
Under Ticino fiduciary law.
IBEX Properties SA is a real estate company operating under the Ticino Act on the Practice of the Fiduciary Professions (LFid, RL 953.100), through an authorised fiduciary entered in the cantonal register. Brokerage, letting, the administration of property and the advice on and running of real estate developments, the core of our work, are activities of a real estate fiduciary under that law (art. 4 LFid); carried on professionally for third parties, they require an authorisation (art. 1 para. 1 LFid).

An authorised fiduciary within the company
In Ticino the authorisation is granted only to individuals and is personal (art. 1 para. 2 LFid). A company may carry on the regulated activities when an authorised fiduciary works in it and holds a signature entered in the commercial register (art. 6 LFid). At IBEX Properties SA this is Giovanni Piffaretti, chairman of the board with sole signature, entered in the cantonal register as a real estate fiduciary and as a commercial fiduciary.

The fiduciary professions in Ticino are supervised by the Autorità di vigilanza sull'esercizio delle professioni di fiduciario, Via Nizzola 1, 6501 Bellinzona.

IBEX Properties SA holds professional indemnity insurance with AXA, as the LFid requires of those who practise the profession (art. 8 let. e LFid).
